We’re delighted to announce the venue and location of the 2025 Workshop & Golf Business Conference. The event, to be held on Thursday 27th February at Kingswood Golf & Country Club in Surrey, will include presentations from leading industry figures as well as well as the team here at Accountancy Matters, who’ll be sharing the latest best practices when it comes to golf club accounting and bookkeeping.
The venue is set as Kingswood Golf & Country Club in Surrey and the date penned in the diary at Thursday 27th February for what promises to be an outstanding day of networking and education for clients of Golf Accountancy Matters. The first event, held in February 2024 at Hadley Wood Golf Club, was extremely well received – but the 2025 incarnation is set to be even better.
In addition to our team presenting on best practices and new technologies in accounting and bookkeeping, the event will see a number of guest speakers attend, details to be announced over the forthcoming weeks.
Speaking of this year’s event, Paul Mould, Director, says “We’re really looking forward to welcoming our valued clients to Kingswood Golf & Country Club on 27th February. We’ve secured some really interesting speakers who’ll be sharing their knowledge of the golf business and adding an interest perspective to the event. We’re going to be releasing news of them over the forthcoming weeks.”
“Sharing the best practice of nearly 50 clubs is becoming so powerful for our clients. We’re really building a community of golf club bookkeepers and accountants – it’s great to be part of. More and more clubs are turning to us now to improve their financial management, remove the often-single point of failure and reduce the reliance on overstretched volunteers within the club.”
Founded in 2018, we have grown significantly over the last 18 months and are well on our way to 50 clubs including prestigious venues such as St. Enodoc, St. Georges Hill and Huntercombe to name a few. In 2024, we opened our Midlands & North office, headed by experienced golf operator Tim Gilpin. Services offered to our clients go from outsourced payroll solutions through to full accounting and finance reporting.
